Rating: 9/10

Review: IHNMAIMS is an amazingly written short story that gave me the chills when I first read it! The opening scene sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the story. It is very short, only 13 pages or so but really captures the reader's imagination with its incredible world building and facinating monologes! In fact, I loved AM's "Hate" monologe so much that I edited it slightly to put at the top of my website! Changing the word hate to love to better suit The Library's vibes!


Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870)

Author: Jules Verne

Rating: 8/10

Review: This book is incredible, especially for its time! It was one of the first sci-fi books ever and predicted the invention of submarines! My only grievence is how difficult it is to read which is understandable as it is just such an old book. The world building is on point, the characters are interesting and the concept of an undersea hermit is so facinating to me!! Also, we love Conseil in this house.


Searching For a World That Doesn't Exist (2025)

Review: An amazing set of two videos (SFAWTDE and DAWTDE) that made me and many others go insane over stupid little minecraft men. The narritave was clean with foreshadowing from the very moment you begin the video. The use of our familiarity with the game to provoke fear when you see that tree in the first episode was spot on and the anxiety of watching Avery stay in the garden for hours was killing me while watching it. Also, doomed yaoi.

The Moon-Bog (1926)

Rating: 7/10

Review: A very good short story about the dangers of disturbing and destroying the natural world through the lens of faeries as well as a comment on the colonisation of Ireland. I, even weeks after reading the short story, can still vividly imagine the faeries dancing outside the narrator's window, that's how good the imagery in this thing is. Overall, I didn't find is as scary as I would have liked to but it certainly was a very good read!
