Orion Pretending to Hate Their Brother

Basically, in this scene here we have Orion (in the left) covering up Aston (right) with their wing while looking a bit pissed off. Orion's whole deal is that they think they're better than their friends, or at least think that thry have to be better than them. This scene takes place near the middle of the story after Aston gets so angry about being underestimated all the time, he storms off into the forest (near Fort Oak) to blow off some steam. Because of pathetic fallacy, it starts raining so Orion goes and wordlessly sits next to him, sheltering him from the rain.

Calypso Portrait

My poor baby Calypso... Long story short, she is tortured by a cult called The Order of the Contrived Angels who beleive her to be an angel of sorts, or at least a person they can shape into an angel/vessel for The Mother to use once she finally decends during the apocalypse. Calypso, of course, did not fucking consent to this. The big cat is there because that is her symbol and represents her, the snow leopard is an endangered species that lives in harsh conditions that often represents resiliance. It's also a predator which forshadows the end of the story when she pulls a Carrie.

Charlie portrait with BONUS OLD CALYPSO DESIGN!!!! Made before I finalised the Big C's design and decided to blind her :3 Charlie is a worker born into the Order of the Contrived Angels. He was taught not to question anything he's told, but when he finds out about what they're actually doing to Calypso, their entire world view gets chucked out the window. Charlie ends up studing to be a doctor in order to be allowed to get close to Calypso, eventually helping her escape. He is an unwilling accessory to her masacre of the Order.
